What if the New Brunswick City logo gets a rebrand?
The current logo is very angular, modern, and minimal. Which is great, but to me that is not what my home town feels like. It is a creative space that mixes cultures and provide opportunities. It is more expressive then what the current logo convays.

My direction for the rebranded logo is to keep the blue and yellow that the current logo uses and add on a vibrant purple. This combination of colors allows there to be room to have a bright and poppy personality, bringing energy to the new logo. In addition to this, both the wordmark and logo are italicized to continue on with the idea of energy. What makes this logo so personalized is the unique letter placed side by side to this new direction. It perfectly represents the individuality, mixing, and creativity of the people that live in the city. The combination of the typefaces within the wordmark and logo captures the expressiveness the city radiates.
How It Would Be Integrated
With the newfound energy, the way New Brunswick will promote themselves will be completely different from before.
Now it will fully illustrate the living soul whose heart beats throughout New Brunswick.
